On the website it says "Deanes Seafood Bar Deanes Seafood Bar is not just another restaurant it is totally different eating out experience in Belfast.". Actually, it's all true! We had the £6.50 lunch, which does end up costing slightly more by the time you have a few extras with the all important glass of wine BUT totally worth it and still not a lot of money to fork out. It was delicious! The ambience is fab and the staff know what they rae talking about. Try it out, you won't regret it. I promise! "The informal but stylish all white interior is reminiscent of a warm summer day in the Hamptons. You will feel welcome and relaxed the minute you walk through the door."

Moira

We literally stumbled over this little place and what a find! Lovely inside, really nice staff, properly made cakes, biscuits, sandwiches. I had Lasangne for lunch which I would n't normally order as nobody seems to be able to make it properly BUT it was delicious. Also the coffee is good which is also a rare find. (It's always a good thing when nobody asks you if you would like extra water in your espresso!!!)
The Fat Gherkin is a Cafe/Deli based in Moira, just 20 minutes from Belfast, run by husband and wife team, Olwyn & Michael Ferguson. The Fat Gherkin stocks gorgeous cheeses, olives and salads as well as offering a breakfast and lunch menu that's sure to make your mouth water.

Neven Maguire needs no introduction but if there is anyone who hasn't already been to NacNean House, pick up the phone. There is a long and lengthy waiting list! Restaurants all over the country would do well to send their staff to Neven to train them up in pleasant small talk and generousity not to mention the vast knowledge of food and wine that each of them posesses. Oh, and of course, the food is fab. Great wine list too!
The website says,"You will find the best food and hospitality Ireland has to offer at Neven Maguire's award-winning MacNean House and Restaurant, nestled in the foothills of the Cuilcagh Mountains, Blacklion, County Cavan. I love, love, love this place! For a long and lingering lunch, it's perfect. I used to live in the north of Italy so I love all things Italian. It feels as if you are sitting in an Enoteca surrounded by Italians. The food is simple but so tasty, the way God intended.
